Crono uses credits to manage data enrichment and AI-powered features. There are three types of credits, and each is used for different actions inside the platform.
Used to find business information including:
Business email addresses
But also for:
Social media profile URLs (e.g., LinkedIn)
Company and contact data (e.g., company website, industry)
Used to find business mobile phone numbers of contacts.
Used for all generative AI features, such as:
Rewrite with AI (single step or entire strategy)
Generate templates with AI
Enrich contact or company records with AI Custom Fields
Create sequences with AI
Crono uses a waterfall enrichment system, meaning:
For each request, Crono checks 10+ data providers in sequence
If multiple providers are queried, you still only use 1 credit per successful result
If no data is found, 0 credits are deducted
This applies separately for enrichment credits and mobile credits.
AI credits are consumed whenever Crono generates or rewrites content.
The cost depends on the complexity of the action (e.g., rewriting a single step vs. an entire sequence).
Crono always shows the number of AI credits required before confirming the action, so you know the cost in advance.
Crono provides a monthly allowance of credits depending on your plan. These reset every month.
If you need more, you can purchase additional credits at any time via: Settings → Add-ons.
Importance differences:
Monthly credits: reset every month and used first
Purchased credits: never expire and used after monthly credits
Purchased credits remain available until fully consumed. If you want to learn more about purchased credits, read this.
