How to create and execute tasks

In the Tasks section, you'll find all your tasks distributed across the weekly calendar - both the automated tasks that Crono will handle for you, and the manual tasks that require your direct action.

Automated tasks are marked with a small "Auto" tag, are not clickable, and are visually distinct from manual tasks.

Tasks can either come from steps within your sequences or be one-off tasks you’ve created manually for a specific prospect.

To create a one-off task for a prospect, open the prospect’s contact card and click on New Task.

Select the type of task you want to create (Email, LinkedIn Invitation, LinkedIn Message, LinkedIn InMail, or Call), then specify the date, time, and optionally the template you'd like to use for the task.
You can also specify if the task is linked to a deal for that company, give it a name, and finally - by clicking Create - you’ll see the task scheduled in your Tasks page on the selected day.

The individual task created is manual by default, but it can be automatized later on in the Tasks section.

Automated Tasks
These will be executed by Crono automatically at the scheduled time.
You can also select automated tasks and reschedule or skip them.

Manual Tasks
Manual tasks, on the other hand, can be completed by simply clicking on them.
When you click on a task (in this case, Email 1/2), Crono will open the task, allowing you to insert or change the template, edit the text, add recipients, or include people in Cc and Bcc if it’s an email task.

By clicking the Send button - just like in the example screenshot - the email will be sent directly from your own inbox.

If the task is a LinkedIn one, you can open it in the same way, select or change the template, and by clicking Send, the LinkedIn Invitation, Message, or InMail will be sent directly from your LinkedIn profile.
