Hello everyone! I bet you are asking yourselves what is a tag, and we are here to narrow it down together.

Tags are labels that you can attach to your contacts and companies and through which you can identify and classify them.

To assign them or change them in bulk for companies and contacts you will have to open the Crono home page and go to the Lists section.

Here you will find the list of your companies or contacts with all the information about them as you can see in the related article. You can select one or more companies/contacts by directly checking on the checkbox next to the company/contact name or you can check the box on top of the list to select the whole page (50 max).

After you selected the contacts/companies you need, underneath the tab it will appear a tiny slide where you will find the tag(s) you want to assign to those contacts/companies, select the one(s) you need and then click apply.

How to create a Tag?

First of all, it's important to emphasize that only the subscription manager of a team can create tags, which will then be the same and usable for all members of that Crono environment.

To create a tag, simply access the Tag management section of the Account settings:

By clicking on Create new, you can create a tag.

You can choose to create a tag that is separate from the CRM and only present in Crono, and then indicate what it should be related to (Company or Contact). Then, give the tag a name (Property name) and the values that will be selectable to be attached. In the example in the photo, we are creating a tag to specify the language of the prospects.

At the bottom, by checking the Allow multi-selection button, we make this tag multi-variable, so we can use more than one value on the same contact (e.g., ENG and also ITA).

Finally, you can create a tag Linked with your CRM (if you have Crono integrated with your CRM).

In this case, in the Property name section simply select the property from your CRM that you also want in Crono.

With this option, when tags are attached to contacts, these contacts will also be tagged in the CRM.
